Cradle of the Force: Depot 125 - April 16 to March 1, 2010

The RCMP Heritage Centre is pleased to present the new temporary exhibition Cradle of the Force: Depot 125.
It is the oldest division in the Force. It is the only division to have seen all three changes in the Force's name. It is "Depot" Division, and it is 125 years old on November 1, 2010. "Depot" Division has seen almost every RCMP member pass through its gates for their initial training and continues to instil and reinforce the history and traditions of the RCMP.
This exhibit explores the fascinating history of the oldest division in the Force, a major player in developing our community's history! Discover how the training of our National Police Force has evolved over the last 125 years!
Come experience this fascinating story that started in 1885 and continues to this day!
