Educators & Groups

Telling the RCMP story and therefore “educating” people about the Force and its role in shaping this great country is our mandate. We are always excited to play host to eager minds, young and old.

Discounts and Special Rates

We are pleased to offer discounts to school groups which includes free passes for chaperones and bus drivers.

We are also pleased to offer travel trade and FIT rates as well as discounts on admission for any group of 10 or more.

Booking Your Visit

Our online booking tool will help you plan your trip and maximize your time with us. Please ensure to book at least 2 weeks ahead of time so that we have time to prepare for your arrival.

You can pay when you arrive! Please check into the Admissions Desk and they will be happy to help you.

Parking

We have a large parking lot which is free to use and has special stalls for motor coaches, school buses and recreational vehicles. Please consult our parking lot map to find out where to park.

Arrival

Please ensure that your group arrives on time. RCMP Heritage Centre staff cannot guarantee the full delivery of programs and itineraries if your group is more than 15 minutes late, so please strive to be a few minutes early.

Accessibility

Guests of the RCMP Heritage Centre enjoy full access to the galleries, theatre, and other amenities during hours of operation. Even though the Heritage Centre offers tours of RCMP Academy “Depot” Division, staff can not guarantee accessibility to any locations or events under RCMP “Depot” Division administration. On rare occasions public visitation to RCMP “Depot” Division may be limited or suspended.

Food

If your group is planning to be at the Centre over the lunch hour, the staff at the Stand Easy Café would be pleased to help you with anything that you need. The café boast a great menu of sandwiches, beverages and snacks. Group lunch deals are available as well as brown bag lunches for students. Want to bring your own lunch? No problem! Our programming staff can find you a place to accommodate that as well.
