You can book our facilities for just about anything. In the past we’ve hosted:

- Private screenings for up to 124 people in our SGI Canada Theatre

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
All daytime rentals include:
- Free access to exhibits for your guests

- Janitorial Staff on-site

CATERING AND BAR SERVICE
Our Stand Easy Café is able to accommodate coffee services and cold lunches. Please contact our Coordinator of Hospitality for more details at 522-7333. If additional catering is required it is up to the responsibility of the client to arrange catering including linens, dishes, cutlery, etc. Caterers must be licensed and able to provide on-site heating and preparation equipment as required. Our staff is more than happy to provide a list of Caterers familiar with the Heritage Centre.
Cocktail service is also the responsibility of the client. We have a portable bar for use, but all bar utensils, alcohol, mix, ice and staffing is the responsibility of the client. Clients are also required to purchase their own liquor license.
IMPORTANT RULES AND REGULATIONS
- The RCMP Heritage Centre will not remove exhibits or displays for an event or facility rental.
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in any public areas of our facility during regular operating hours. Public areas include Gallery Hall, Main Exhibit Gallery, Feature Gallery, Regimental Lobby, SGI Canada Theatre, washrooms and outdoor patios and grounds.
- Food and drink is NEVER allowed in the Main Exhibit Gallery or the SGI Canada Theatre.
- All live or recorded entertainment is subject to SOCAN fees (Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada).
- Evening rentals require security staff be on-site. We reserve the right to determine how many will be required and for how long. Security services cost an additional $25/hour.
- A valid credit card is required for all facility bookings.
- A Damage Deposit equaling half of the rental fee, minus additional fees and taxes, is required for all evening rentals in addition to the rental fee and must be paid at contract signing.
Cancellation /Refund Policy
- 30+ days 100% Damage Deposit Refunded
- 15-30 days 75% Damage Deposit Refunded
- 1-14 days No Refund
SPECIAL NOTE FOR BRIDES
- Confetti, rice, helium balloons and open flames are not permitted in the Heritage Centre or on the grounds.
- Flowers are not allowed in the exhibits or in Gallery Hall.
- Decorating is the responsibly of the client.
- Clients may use the Centre’s sound equipment (mic and speakers) for ceremonies. DJ services as well as music for ceremonies is the responsibility of the client.
ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING AND AMENITIES FOR YOUR GUESTS
- All daytime rentals include free access to the galleries and regular public programming for your guests.
- We can request the presence of cadets, regular members in Red Serge and retired musical ride horses for large corporate and non-profit events. This service is offered for short meet and greets only, is dependant on training schedules and availability and is NEVER guaranteed for any function. We strongly encourage groups not to publish meet and greets because this service can be cancelled on short notice.
- Our programming staff can arrange for guided tours of our galleries. There is no charge during the day. After hours tours are $150.00/hour.
- Our programming staff can arrange for guided tours of “Depot” Division. There is no charge during the day. After hours tours are $150.00/hour and subject to permission from “Depot” administration and are NEVER guaranteed.
- Members of the RCMP Pipes and Drums are available for hire at a rate of $250/hour.
